This beautiful BT7 3000 Mk1 was imported in 2004 and then subjected to a chassis up restoration by well known Healey specialists, Orchard Restorations in Sussex. Three owners have enjoyed the car, the last since 2013 who had raced Healeys and wanted an excellent road car to join his small collection.
A rare factory hard top is fitted, again restored by Orchard, which really suits the car. The hood and full tonneau are blue to match the immaculate interior.
The history file details the restoration including a full list of every part used during the rebuild. There is a Heritage Certificate which confirms that the car is a matching numbers example and retains its original engine, which has been converted for unleaded petrol. It also shows that the Healey had overdrive fitted from new and that it was supplied to Fort Worth in Texas in March 1960.
We are carrying out a light re-commission which includes brake work, a new water pump, new rear tyres and a service and grease up.
The 3000 has excellent panel fit and detail and remains in very good order having only had light use since the rebuild.
