Finished in original beige with biscuit interior, it is a colour combination that works very well. This particular car was subject to a full restoration prior to coming to Ireland in 2021, and its difficult to find any fault with the car. It drives like a car of this elegance should, and her gearbox is smooth, brakes are perfectly balanced, and everything including the period radio is working as it should. The 108 Mercedes was produced up to September 1972, and this lovely lady was registered in May 1972, so it is one of the later cars to come off the production line. These Mercs were a tremendous success as a 4 door luxury saloon which also had plenty of power under the bonnet with that smooth 6 cylinder engine whenever it was called upon. These cars are becoming hard to find in this condition, and this one will stand up to any inspection both mechanical and cosmetic. A true Mercedes that would make a great investment, or a true head turner wherever she goes. She comes with a host of old MOTs and receipts, and has a full photographic portfolio of the restoration which can be seen on out website. Being an original UK car, this can be exported from Ireland and returned to her original registration number in UK.
