Description
Recently imported by myself from South Africa.
Renault R10 1969, RHD. 1298cc.
Light Project.
Cheap to clear.
Registration paperwork has now been sent to the DVLA, so will be sold with a V5 and age related number plate, by the end of this December.
Tax and MOT exempt.
I have a good video inspection of the car in South Africa at purchase time (before roof damage), which i can send over if you Whatsapp me.
Good Bits,
Fitted with it, s original Renault 810-03, 1298cc engine, plus a twin Weber carb. This larger size engine (originally from the R12) was only available on the very last R10, s and is very rare.
The SA weather has preserved this car very well. The sills, chassis rails look great, i can see no signs of welding on the floors.
One of the rare cars to fire up almost straight away after shipping. Engine sounds great and no smoke.
Lights, indicators, heater fan and wipers all work.
Drives very well.
Very straight bodywork.
Speedo is showing in mph. South Africa changed to the metric system in 1970 so generally cars after that have kilometer clocks.
Many spares workshop manual and some papers are included.
Wheels look like they have been "banded".
Bad Bits,
Roof has been damaged during shipping.
Paint is old, but not too bad.
I am based in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B74.
You can contact me on the details below if need be,
thanks.
