Sadly, my 1995 gsx 400 impulse, that i bought as a non-runner a few weeks ago, is once again up for sale. I've not been able to get it to start and a local mechanic has diagnosed low compression in the cylinders as being at least part of the problem. The carbs will probably need looking at, too. It does turn over and there is a spark, but it won't fire. I don't have the time to strip the engine down at the moment, so i've decided to offer it as a winter project (unless anyone has a spare, working, engine kicking about that is going cheap...? ????). it's been resprayed at some point and, as you can see from the pictures, it's in good condition and will make a nice bike once it's fixed. It's only done 32000 kilometres (about 25000 miles??), too. Please get in touch if you would like any more details. The bike is in cannock, staffordshire. Many thanks, lee.
