The 55W was a limited run in it's famous turquoise blue after the 1984 34L. It is kick start only, and the oil is in a tank, not in the frame. It is credited for better heating regulation vs later 1VJ models (86/ 87) which changed to the oil in frame set up.
The machine is in great condition, with some minor age related marks, but nothing of concern. It has been stored in a garage on trickle charge, and run up on occasion in warmer months. It starts easily once you know how to. I have receipts of work covered in my ownership.
I commissioned Riky Cross during the pandemic to make me some of his well know 80s Dakar bash plate and luggage racks to complete the look. The bike comes with the original bash plate and a full set of brand NEW replica plastics for the machine which fit perfectly
