The Chevrolet Corvette (C7) is the seventh generation of the Corvette sports car manufactured by American automobile manufacturer Chevrolet from 2014 until 2019. It was introduced for the 2014 model year as the first to bear the Corvette Stingray name since 1976.
The first production 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible was sold in 2013 Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach to Hendrick Motorsports owner Rick Hendrick for US$1, 000, 000.
A month after the first 2014 Corvette Stingray, 485 vehicles had been delivered. Of these early orders, 38% included 7-speed manual transmission, and 75% included the Z51 Performance Package . Of which our Vette has both. .
Our Corvette has huge specification and a host of extras. The z51 package is very desirable giving extra horsepower, suspension options, gear ratio options, improved braking options and bigger alloys to name just a few. Previous owner informs us that this Vette is now approx 550 horsepower. Our Corvette was built as a Euro Spec car from new and has been a UK car from new and was registered new in 2015, in the UK . As such the road tax is very low and everything to comply to Euro driving laws was done at production. The very apt 6. 2 vet registration will remain on the car and comes in the overall price. Another very big cost option has been fitted approx 6k !!!. A full stainless exhaust with switchable modes , controlled from the 7 inch touchscreen. All programmed correctly and entered thru the cars set up page onscreen. 4 modes from “Stealth” to “Track” mode.
Also fitted is the Maxton Design carbon spoiler package, which sets this Z51 C7 apart, again an expensive quality aftermarket kit. Last owner also detailed with carbon wrapping. All done to a very high standard and hard to distinguish from real carbon fibre. The engine is super clean and a chrome dress kit has been added swell as Corvette bonnet decal. K and n filters have been installed into oem housing. Fortunes have been spent on this car over and above the original high spec. Which includes , variable drive modes controlled from touchscreen, variable suspension modes, heads up display, sat nav , huge spec sound system, memory electric seats plus loads more.
The wheels are immaculate and the large callipers have been painted Gloss Red.
This C7 was One mans dream , but unfortunately after some bad news this part of his collection must be sold. Im sure it will bring a lot of fun for the next owner.
