This is my beautiful 1984 Volvo 240 GL. It is a 5 speed manual and comes in quite a rare colour of metallic brown. The original paint really pops in the sun and in some lights turns a lovely red wine colour. It has power steering and central locking.
The car has been garaged from new which explains the incredible condition. It has been very well looked after. It really is a one off.
I have never seen another one in this colour. There are lots of red, blue, silver and white ones about but this one really stands out from the crowd. The colour combination with the caramel interior is beautiful and includes rare original Volvo caramel coloured snow mats. There are period covers on the seats to protect the original covers underneath.
There is an extensive history file which includes the original purchase receipt. I am the second owner.
Driving this car is a real pleasure. It drives pretty much like a new car. I would happily jump in it and drive anywhere. It is ready for a new owner to jump in and show off.
I really love this car but I have put my sensible hat on for a bit and need to reduce the size of my classic car collection.
