Despatched from Austin’s Abingdon factory on 11th September 1958 for delivery to ‘The Dreadnought Garage Ltd, Brighton’ this rare 100/ 6 BN6 (two-seater) is one of just 133 UK original right hand drive cars. The two-seater cars are especially coveted for their extremely beautiful lines, competition provenance and sharper driving dynamics. On delivery to Dreadnought Garages this Healey was first registered as OAP 222 – a number the car retains today on a current V5. The speedo reads 16, 963 miles and the car has been off the road since 1979.
Originality is a theme that carries on with this car retaining its: original engine including crankshaft, camshaft, head, original gearbox, original ignition key, original boot, shrouds, bonnet, wings, doors, all interior trim including seats, door panels, dash, dash top, gauges, original and complete windscreen frame, original wheels, radiator, carburettors and manifold, rare conical reflectors, wiring harness, horn push, grille, bumpers, suspension and hub assemblies and many more components.
