motodrome offer this very sweet 1961 Austin A40 Farina mark 1 Saloon, finished in Blue with contrasting black roof, and blue interior
Very light and easy to drive, they’re mechanically similar to the Morris Minor of similar vintage, and are powered by the 948cc A-series engine, clothed in a sharp (for the time) Italian-designed body.
Odometer reading 86000 miles, and V5 shows 4 previous keepers, including 2 from the same family since 1997
Bodywork-wise it looks very presentable, although the chrome is showing it’s age.
On test, whilst it’s not the fastest, trundling round the country lanes near here was a joy and certainly put a smile on my face as it drove very well indeed
