Background
1. Manufactured and exported in 1969
2. Imported to the UK in 1991
3. 2005 (13, 500 miles) The car was owned in Lincoln and was subject to a rebuild by MGRaw Motor Engineering with panels and parts supplied by Rimmer Brothers. Work undertaken - Chassis stripped down and re-painted; Replacement of all outer body panels; Replacement of inner shell panels where required; Rebuild including new bushes, rubbers, pipework etc. See advert photos.
4. 2017 (17, 500 miles) I took ownership and have undertaken the following upgrades:
• New Hood
• New Half Tonneau cover
• Replacement rear bumper – to replace original US bumpers (also come with car)
• Front seats refurbished – foams and original covers
• New Overdrive Solenoid
• New Wind deflector
• New wheels and tyres
• Refurbished Dashboard
• Refurbished Carburettors
• Well maintained with regular services
This TR6 in a great example that has been subject to a professional body-off rebuild and has then been well maintained and nurtured. Th result being a clean and reliable heritage car with tracked and photographed history. The car cart was manufactured in 1969 for export to the USA - it is therefore a CC Carburettor Model. The car returned two the UK in August 1991 and I am the 5th UK owner. The car has plenty of history and I have tracked the history through the mechanics and paintwork company that did the rebuild in 2005. I bought the car in 2017 from an Engineer and car enthusiast in Nottingham. I can confirm that the car has been well looked after through the last 3 owners and to my knowledge the car is free from any significant rust having been garaged and only stretched in good weather conditions.
