We are offering an early 1942 Kubelwagen. One of the first 10000 ever produced!
This one carries a chassis nr in the 7700 range.
It is fully drivable, however it has never been restored so it has its traces of being 81 years old.
The important things are there. It has an original chassis, original body, original ID plate. Postwar are its hydraulic brakes, 30HP engine, and Beetle front axle.
In my opinion you should keep a car like this alone, just improve some details but dont restore it. You will kill its history.
Most Kubels were delivered to Heereszugambt Kassel.
This one was delivered to a German airport called Fliegerausbildung Schonwalde.
Finding a restored Kubel is easier as finding an unrestored Kubel that survived WW2.
Let alone an early one with a very rare destination.
