Reliant Scimitar SE6A: Manual/ Overdrive
The Reliant Scimitar was in production for over 22 years and evolved from a GT Coupe to Sports Estate beloved by the Royal family (Princess Anne is on her eighth!) to a Convertible. The SE6A is arguably the most desirable option retaining Ford’s 3. 0 Essex engine with Webber carburetors and optional Laycock overdrive.
Today the Scimitar is rightly recognised as one of the most practical and capable sports GTs available offering a top speed in excess of 120mph, brisk acceleration, rear seats/ luggage space and original styling.
Milestones sold this stunning Reliant Scimitar some years ago and we were delighted when the owner asked us if we would like to buy her back – we love our classics coming home as we know how good they are.
With just six owners (including a husband and wife) for 31years the SE6A is an exceptional car. The engineer/ owner completed a body off restoration around 34, 000 miles ago and today, as the pictures indicate, the car remains in outstanding condition.

This car is an interesting and viable alternative to a MGCGT or Volvo P1800. Ideal for the golf playing/ dog owning classic car enthusiast this car is waiting to embark on new adventures with the lucky new owners.
