This stunning Porsche Boxster 987 is one of the second-generation Boxster’s that Porsche produced, making its debut at the Paris motor show in 2004 and then went on sale in 2005, powered by a mid mounted 3. 2 litre flat six-cylinder engine producing 276 bhp, coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox taking it from 0 to 62 mph in 5. 5 seconds. This gives unrivalled handling and a superb driving experience, as well as practical luggage space for touring.
Supplied by Porsche centre Edinburgh, SN05DFZ was registered on 31st March 2005. Finished in midnight blue metallic paint, 18-inch sport design alloy wheels, electric black contrasting hood with a black leather interior. Equipped with air conditioning, radio CD player, wind deflector, glass heated rear screen, central locking, electric windows and door mirrors.
Regular previous maintenance had been carried out by Porsche Centre Aberdeen. When purchased by its fourth and current owner, a fasridious individual, in March 2022, no expense was spared on maintenance by Clark & Carter Restorations. In May 2022 we did the following: a major service comprising engine oil and filter change, spark plug replacement, air and pollen filters replaced, gearbox oil changed, brake disks removed and skimmed, new brake pads, brake and clutch fluid changed, new battery fitted, corrosion around front wheel arches attended to and repainted, stone protection foils replaced, hood cleaned and re-sealed, full compound and polish to paintwork all at a cost of £5500. Complete with two keys, all hand and service books. Invoices are available upon request.
