EXTERIOR
Function over form, this Defender 90 features a boxy silhouette with a short wheelbase, giving it a compact and rugged look. The front fascia is dominated by a bold, upright grille, flanked by square LED headlights. The bonnet features a prominent power bulge with the flanks characterized by clean, straight lines, and square wheel arches these accommodate large wheels and provide excellent ground clearance.
Built on a new lighter aluminium chassis and highly advanced electronic systems, it still delivers top-class off-roading capabilities while giving the driver a connected feel to the car.
As a limited and special edition all these Bond 007 examples were finished in an undercover shade of Santorini Black Metallic. Given the cars minimal mileage it presents as new with no marks or blemishes to note, included as part of its spy heritage is the extended black pack which eliminates any contrasting colours giving the defender the ultimate stealth look.
INTERIOR
Climbing into the cabin, the Ebony Windsor leather-trimmed interior is in similarly impressive shape, with no creases, scratches or scuffs to note, along with tech features upgraded 11-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard with the 007 Edition.
The bespoke touches extend to the practical interior, with illuminated ‘Defender 007’ tread plates and a specially developed touchscreen start-up animation for the intuitive Pivi Pro infotainment system that honours Land Rover’s long partnership with the James Bond franchise. At night, customers will also spot unique ‘007’ puddle lamp graphics.
Exclusively available to just 300 spys and/ or villains around the world, the Defender V8 Bond Edition’s interior features laser etching detailing that it is ‘one of 300’ and the SV Bespoke logo. Each vehicle is commissioned by the vehicle personalisation experts at SV Bespoke in the UK.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Based on the recently launched Defender V8, the Bond Edition is powered by a 5. 0-litre supercharged petrol engine, which produces 525BHP driven through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Defender V8 90 accelerates from 0-60mph in just 4. 9 seconds with a top speed of 149mph
It delivers new levels of performance and driver engagement by combining the V8 with unique suspension and transmission tuning, including bespoke spring and damper rates and a new electronic active rear differential. As such it delivers more agile and engaging handling than any previous model – all accompanied by a characteristic V8 supercharged soundtrack to suit any getaway or chase you might find yourself in.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The massive 22-inch Luna Gloss Black wheels shows no signs of damage or scuffs, wrapped in Continental Cross-Contact tyres they are of course as new given the limited mileage covered.
Sporting 6 pot Brembo Blue front calipers, these deliver huge stopping power to match the acceleration and performance of the engine.
HISTORY FILE
Ordered new to the UK as a LHD vehicle it was first registered on the 04/ 03/ 2022 and remains as a VAT qualifying example.
Never used it has covered less than 100 miles and presents in as new condition.
Serviced as part of a time based routine it was carried out by Land Rover South West London at 86 miles in March 2023.
The Bond Edition is a limited edition model, with only 300 units being produced worldwide, making it a rare and exclusive choice for any adventurous Bond fan.
