The Rover P6 series (named as the 2000, 2200, or 3500, depending on engine displacement) was a saloon car produced by Rover and subsequently British Leyland from 1963 to 1977 in Solihull, Warwickshire, England, UK.
The P6 was the first winner of the European Car of the Year award.
Finished in BRG with contrasting biscuit interior, this is one of the finest examples we have seen in some time. This car has been in the same ownership since 1994, and has had thousands spent to get her to look and drive as good as she does. She has benefited from upgrades which include PAS, Electronic ignition, Electric cooling fan, Timing chain replacement. New alternator and battery, as well as exhaust, four new tyres fitted in 2022.
Its fair to say that this car has had above and beyond when it comes to being a labour of love. She had new upholstery, door cards and carpets fitted, and the interior is like new.
The paintwork is in excellent condition, but as any vehicle of 51 years, she has a few paint blemishes which can be easily rectified. There is no rust on the car, and the usual spots under the back seats are perfect. This is no ordinary P6 in need of some fettling. The car is as good as it looks in the photos. The price reflects some of the cost of work that has gone into the car, and all paperwork is present to show engine work etc.
The previous owner brought the car to UK to have works completed by Rover experts, and has been completed to a high level of detail. We are open Monday to Saturday. Viewing by appointment only, and we can arrange delivery if required.
