1973 XLH Sportster 1000cc Ironhead, with matching numbers. Electric start model with right hand gear change.
Top end was refreshed about 18 months ago. UK registered, V5 in my name.
Lowered suspension and finished in a “Bobber” style with single leather sprung seat.
Everything works as it should and it sounds nice with short baffles fitted inside the Drag pipes.
Front brake system, including the disc, is all new.
New wiring loom.
Many stainless and brass parts fitted.
The frame has not been modified, so can be put back to stock.
The front suspension is lowered by 2" with a Progressive kit. Stock springs will be included.
The rear shocks have been replaced with 12” struts. Stock 14” shocks will be included.
Other stock parts are included in the sale: front mudguard and chrome chain guard.
The bike was featured in issue 38 of “Built” magazine.
The bike is in Excellent condition, as can be seen in the photos.
