Ford Sierra 1. 8LX Hatchback, first registered in September 1991 and finished in Magenta with grey cloth interior. Has only covered a warranted 67, 000 miles and low ownership of 4. We have all old MOTs and original Ford booklets, including the service book which shows stamps for the early part of its life to 2002 and a few other invoices for work carried out, including a clutch in 2021. Recently MOT'd with advisories for front brakes (which we will replace with new discs and pads) and rear tyres - importantly no advisories for corrosion.
Starts really well and is very quiet for a CVH, drives nicely and will happily keep up with modern traffic. Although it's a fairly low spec, by the end of the Sierra lifespan, Ford started throwing some more equipment in so it does come with electric front windows, central locking, boot release and a glass tilt/ slide sunroof - everything works.
Presents well from 10 yards, closer inspection will reveal some dings and minor scratches but all the paintwork looks to be original and the date stamps on panels match the date of manufacture so a very original car all around. Sills are solid, have had some work in the past but it is neat enough and drew no adverse comments from the MOT tester. The interior is clean, a couple of rips in the drivers seat are the only areas of note.
Getting a rare sight these days, would be a nice retro daily driver with opportunity for further improvement if desired, but fine to use as is. If you've any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me (Anthony).
