This beautiful MGB was first registered in November 1978 and was purchased by the current Classic Car collector and professional 25 years ago and was correctly and professionally converted to chrome bumpers over twenty years ago by Classic Coach Builders to his very detailed specification with a bit of help from his son. Since then, it has been kept at his house in Catalunya in Spain with only the odd trip back to the UK for MOT test's and servicing.
It is finished in British Racing Green with Grey leather seats piped in Black together with new Black carpets, a Black Leather Mota-Lita Steering Wheel, Electric Windows conversion, early dashboard, centre console and gear knob and very early rear lights, all correct for an earlier chrome bumper car.
It also has a modified 1950cc engine with polished and ported head, Half race camshaft, twin HS6 carbs, aluminium polished rocker cover, tubular manifold, sports stainless exhaust, Kenlowe Fan, 4 Speed Gearbox with Overdrive on 3rd & 4th gears and new centre lock 15” Mini-lite Alloy Wheels with Michelin XAS 165/ 15 tyres.
In addition, it has MGB GT front springs and a lowering kit at the rear, front and rear anti-roll bars and the ride height is perfect.
Since the rebuild, the car has only covered 5, 832 miles!
This is a really special car in exceptional and very near 'concours' condition and It is with great sadness that the owner is giving us the car to sell for him after 25 years, but he would now like someone else to enjoy his pride and joy!
The car is clear on all HPi registers and upon sale it will come with a new MOT (although now exempt) a pre-sales service + our own 6 Month Mechanical Warranty.
It is ULEZ exempt and of course Road Tax free!
