Deposit taken. 1984 Lotus Excel narrow bodied
with very low genuine 17, 429 miles on clock, paperwork to verify.
The car was bought new by a lady and it remained in her ownership for 20 years it was then sold with only 14, 500 miles on clock.
The car now needs some light restoration work, it has a galvanised chassis and Toyota gear box, the engine turns freely by hand but the dizzy amp is missing but comes with a new aquaspark electronic distributor. The airbox, some trim panels, clutch master and slave cylinder are in the boot. Items known to be missing are battery, spare wheel and rollover bar cover.
Front seats are quite good, rear seats need some repair, will also need roof lining.
The car has original paint work which is in quite good condition.
I have owned the car for 10 years, it was bought as a light project which never got started and has been dry stored for last 10 years. Brakes are free and tyres hold air long enough for transportation.
It has a black bonnet badge to commemorate Colin Chapmans death.
Comes with original bill of sale, some bills and Mot's. V5 present.
