1967 Triumph GT6 Mk 1. Possibly the best Mk1 available for sale at this time.
Restoration + full respray by well known Triumph specialist Chic Doig over a year during 2020-2021. Car received near total bodywork overhaul with new floorpans, sills, boot floor etc. Car has been in dry storage since then with less than 100 miles clocked in dry weather only.
New engine and gearbox rebuild by Mike Stewart (Mike Stewart Performance Engineering) between January - May 2023. Engine is just being run in and car has done less than 50 miles since rebuild. Mike Stewart prepares engines to racing standards, and while my Triumph is road-spec, commensurate attention to detail has gone into the gearbox and engine rebuild.
Bodywork + engine/ gearbox rebuild has been fully documented with pictures.
Overdrive in 3rd/ 4th gears. Original GT6 steering wheel included in sale. Low owner car with a lot of historical documents. First owner for over 40 years, and I am the 3rd registered keeper since.
Asking price reflects the condition of the car and is well below the amount of money spent on it. I have just acquired another classic and it is now time to pass this car on to its next owner to enjoy all of the work that has been put in to bringing it to its current standard.
