Description
Delivered new on the 12th of June 1998, this TVR Chimaera 450 was specified in the highly desirable colour scheme of Buckinghamshire Green over a Beige leather interior.
The 4. 5L version of Rover V8 derived engine - seen as the 'sweet spot' in many people's eyes - produces an impressive 285bhp and a 0-60mph time of 4. 7s. No slouch by any measure.
Having had a total of 8 owners throughout its 25 year life, it's evident from the car's history file, that it's been a very well looked after example indeed. See the Documentation section below.
Within the last 6, 600 miles, that car has had its outriggers replaced and powder coated, a new power performance camshaft kit, front discs and host of other general maintenance.
In May this year, the car had a fresh MOT which it passed with no advisories whatsoever.
Upon collection, we had the car inspected by Classic Performance Engineering, who have also not highlighted anything that has cause for concern.
What's more, we treated the car to a 2-stage paint correction, interior wet-vac and deep clean. Hopefully you'll agree that the finished article really is a stunning looking example!
As always, we would urge anyone with an interest to come and have a look around with us, so please do drop us a message to book in a viewing.
