This original MK1 Golf benefits from being the rare GTI Engineering edition which was a company who took the standard GTI and made this hot hatch considerably hotter, with a range of performance and handling upgrades.
Roll on 30 odd years makes this a very rare model. Showing low registered keepers and 118, 000 miles backed up by solid history and even has the original book pack. The interior is in time warp condition with only a mild bolster tear, and with only a few age related marks this car presents incredibly well.
The factory electric roof works correctly. The 5-speed gear box is sharp and silky smooth, the steering is tight and responsive. Currently wearing authentic Borbet A alloy wheels with good tyres all round, the car will come with its original GTI wheels too. The steering wheel is the original GTI Engineering which was supplied back in 1990. The only modern upgrade is a Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth connectivity .
