Just in, and an absolutely lovely example of the much sought after BMW R100R
One of the last Airhead BMWs produced, and surely destined to become a VERY sought after model. Infact, nice examples these R100R’s rarely seem to surface for sale nowadays.
This has been cherished by its last owner for over 20 years, and its mechanical and cosmetic condition are an absolute credit to him. Clearly a well maintained and cherished machine, and in totally original condition. On purchase, the owner told me that in those twenty years, the bike had never let him down, with only a gearbox refresh being the only mechanical expenditure over and above service items. (precautionary, for the well documented cir-clip addition).
As well as being in exemplary condition, the bike comes with a series of nice extras. It has crash bars, full stainless exhaust system, factory touring screen, hand guards, and a comfort seat to accommodate the taller rider. It is also wired for a rider / passenger intercom system, that will also accompany the bike. Factory luggage, complete with inner liners fitted.
All in all, if you’re considering one of these iconic Airheads, I would suggest that this one is a serious contender. Even at this price, I’ll consider YOUR Airhead BMW in part exchange, and offer a great price for yours against it. I can also offer discounted courier delivery.
