EXTERIOR
Finished in a wonderfully refined shade of Space Grey Metallic, the 19? alloys and subtle bonnet bulge are the only giveaways to this otherwise covert M car. The famous exposed carbon fibre roof given to all of the M3s in period helps with lowering the cars overall centre of gravity, ensuring a well rounded and balanced car on and off the track. With this model being an LCI, the rear tail lights were upgraded to LED, which add to the contemporary feel of the car.
Having covered just 25k miles from new the condition is fantastic, with nothing more than a few small stone chips to note. The beautiful metallic finish gives a deep glossy shine and fantastic metallic flake as the muscular bodywork captures the light.
INTERIOR
The interior provides a striking contrast to the Space Grey exterior paint. Finished in Fox Red Novillo the leather is in excellent condition with none of the usual wear around the bolsters you would usually find. Carbon trim can be seen within the interior, with its black carbon-structure tastefully added to the dash and door cards giving you a taste of what this car is really built for.
Heated memory seats, cruise control, USB phone connectivity, pro navigation and climate control provide all the comforts of a cruiser alongside increased usability in cabin/ luggage space via a through load system and split folding rear seats.
The steering wheel presents in excellent condition with the familiar M Sport stitching in those iconic blue red and white colours. The programmable M button can transform the car into a formidable driving machine allowing pre-programming of the EDC, DCT and traction control settings whilst tightening throttle response.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The high revving V8 engine barks into life with a purposeful roar and quietens down after the warm up phase.
The 7 speed DCT gearbox is superb and a huge step on from BMW’s last SMG setup, providing both a smooth fully automatic function or manual changes.
Maintenance has been carried out solely by BMW Main dealers from new with the running in service well within manufacture tolerances.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The two tone 19? double-spoke M alloy wheels look fantastic, with the high polished face complimented by darker spoke inserts they remain in near perfect condition sitting on sporting premium Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres all round.
Black callipers camouflage into the background leaving large drilled discs on show, which have no excessive wear and still have plenty of miles left in them.
HISTORY FILE
This M3 LCI was first supplied to Williams Liverpool BMW on the 30th June 2011, this example presents beautifully with its Space Grey Metallic paint and Fox red interior. it has been in the first owners care for over 10 years and covered most of the miles during their ownership.
