If you are reading this advert, the motorcycle is STILL for sale. Fresh into stock, this gorgeous 1974 BMW R60/ 5 with just 10, 880 (KPH speedo) genuine miles. The motorcycle is in staggering condition for 49 years old. All paintwork is original BMW. The motorcycles was bought new in Germany in 1974 by Squadron Leader Geoffrey Wellesley Carlton through the BFG, original receipt is in the history file. He then returned to the UK in 1977 where is was UK registered on LEL 51P. The motorcycle has had only had two other owners. It comes with handbook, tool kit, pump under the seat, nearly every old MOT and tax disc including the one from BFG Germany. A box of small parts like points, bulb and gaskets etc. Some old receipts, and a short range tank. The motorcycle was last used in 2013, so we have changed the oil and filter and recommissioned it. We have also fitted a new battery. It's probably the quietest BMW we have ever heard! So at 10, 880 miles it's just run in. Super rare in this condition, and must for anyones collection.
