EXTERIOR
The Jet Black Metallic paintwork elevates the already stunning design of the GT3 Touring, showcasing its muscular stance and aerodynamic prowess. The sleek lines and absence of a rear wing give it an elegant and understated appearance, setting it apart from its winged sibling, while still retaining all the performance DNA of the GT3 lineage.
Continuing the stealthy aesthetic of the Touring this example is fitted with a matte black front spoiler, side skirts and vast rear diffuser. Other details include the optional black trim around the windows and the discrete GT3 Touring nomenclature which sits proudly upon the retractable rear spoiler.
Having covered just over 7k miles from new the paint work presents beautifully sitting free from any discernible swirls with impact areas protected by paint protection film.
INTERIOR
Upholstered in a combination of Exclusive Cognac Leather with technical fabric inserts to provide significant weight saving and guaranteeing incredible support and comfort at any speed. The lavish leather upholstery extends to the dashboard, doors and steering wheel with contrasting Cognac stitching detailing the surfaces throughout.
Ensuring the racing inception of the GT3 isn’t entirely forgotten lashings of high gloss carbon fibre can be found throughout the space, adorning the dashboard, door trim and entry sills which come complete with illuminated GT3 branding.
The uncompromising standard of the Porsche’s interior ensures all the modern tech is still present with the inclusion of Satellite navigation system, a BOSE surround sound system, reversing camera and automatic climate control system, this example also adding a front suspension lift to its extensive spec list resulting in a GT3 that can be used comfortably everyday whilst still being blisteringly quick when the time arises.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
True to form, Porsche have stuck to a Flat-6 Engine configuration, as they did when the first 911 was released back in 1963. With an extra 10hp and 10Nm over the 991, individual throttle valves and more efficient injectors taken from the 991 Speedster, the performance on offer can only be described as truly explosive. Changing gear at its redline of 9000 rpm and paired with its ultra-fast PDK 7 speed automatic gearbox the Touring achieves 62 mph in 2. 8 seconds and to 100 mph in just 6. 7 seconds!
Mechanically unchanged to the standard GT3 the main improvement to the Touring is the conic high flow BMC air-filter, which amplifies the iconic exhaust note, beginning with a deep bellow produced from the naturally aspirated engine low down to a howl through the rev range before reaching an all out scream at the top end. This is all amplified through its beautifully designed dual pipe active exhaust.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Completing the timeless style of this 992 GT3 Touring, the satin silver centre lock 20?/ 21? alloy wheels look superb and remain in showroom condition. These are wrapped in matching N1 rated Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres on each corner, giving you the confidence in both dry and wet conditions.
A double-wishbone setup at the front, multi-link rear axle at the back and adjustability for racing, this all new suspension system comes directly from the 911 RSR and 911 GT3 Cup cars which had been adapted for excellent comfort for the road.
The 20? front and 21? rear alloys both house Porsches Ceramic Composite Brakes with high gloss black painted callipers, giving unparalleled stopping power without any brake fade even the toughest of conditions.
HISTORY FILE
Delivered new to the UK in 2022 the car has remained with its first owner since and benefits from the manufactures warranty until 2025 and Porsche assistance services.
It is an extremely high specified example which features over 30K of optional extra’s including the Exclusive Manufacture Cognac leather, Carbon Roof, Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes, Full bucket seats and BOSE surround sound alongside a plethora of smaller options that add up to this example one of, if not the highest specification cars currently available.
