Suzuki TS250X 1986 D registration in restored collector’s condition - Now Sold
As you can see from the pictures, this bike is stunning. A rare bike, completely restored over a 2 year period using many Suzuki new old stock parts, taking around 200 hours. It has been one of those builds which costs for the restoration ran away with me, so the result is a bike really for the collector who wants a lovely example to look at and appreciate.

The bike runs and rides, but has not been on the road, and should you wish to use it the engine will require carefully running in as all two stroke do.
The list of new old stock parts is extensive and fully documented, many of which such as seals, bushes, bearings, gaskets, clutch plates, etc. you cannot see but take note. More obvious are the NOS indicators, NOS rear lamp, complete NOS exhaust system which alone cost $1, 600.
The engine has been completely rebuilt, crank, conrod, piston, bearings, seals, two stroke pump, water pump, neutral switch. Engine painted with 2K. Replacement power valve actuator. NOS two stroke oil level sensor. NOS clutch plates.
Carb stripped, ultrasonic cleaned and vapour blasted.
All cables are NOS, as are the clutch and brake levers.
Refurbished wheels, new bearings, new Michelin Anakee Tyres.
New chain and sprockets.
NOS brake pads and shoes.
NOS front brake master cylinder.
NOS front caliper rebuild kit.
NOS seat lock and Bowden cable.
NOS horn and mounting bracket.
Forks rebuilt with new NOS seals.
Bodywork professionally painted in Suzuki Aspen Yellow with new decals.
Frame painted in 2K.
Various brackets, swingarm, rear shock spring powder coated.
The list is extensive.
Anyone viewing this can see the time, effort, and expense put into the bike. I will never recover all the money spent, but would like the bike to go to someone who will appreciate it and take care of it.
