A splendid example of the LANCIA Fulvia Coupé HF 1600, known to enthusiasts as the '1. 6 HF CORSA'. It is in fact one of the very rare vehicles produced by Lancia in only 200 examples at the beginning of the marketing of the second series to dispose of the stock of mechanical parts and components of the first HF 'Fanalone' series. The Corsa's mechanics make extensive use of these components from the first 'Fanalone' series in particular: crankshaft, overhead camshaft, cylinder head, connecting rods, oil cooler, negative camber front suspension geometry and enlarged mudguards. It also has aluminium bonnets and doors, and Plexiglas rear windows. The upholstery is very sparse, it has 'Fanalone' seats, no deflectors on the doors, no bumpers, no stainless steel frames on the front and rear windows, and no door-opening warning lights. It was clearly distinguished from the HF 1600 lusso and had a lower list price at the beginning. Today, this model is highly prized and sought after for its rarity and fundamentally, for its higher performance. This example had been used in historic rallv sprint races as certified in the ASI homologation and had been prepared accordingly with the installation of a roll bar, Weber carburettors with filterless trombones, a lowered set-up with roller suspension at the front and ribbed leaf springs at the rear, and Koni shock absorbers. In 2005 and later in 2020, the car was restored to its original state by undergoing a professional restoration, where the entire body and chassis was sandblasted and repainted, the mechanicals raised and the upholstery restored by specialist Ferraresi. It is now in competition condition.
