This Riley Special is the perfect combination of superb handling coupled with lots of power from it’s 3200cc engine and hydraulic brakes.
Constructed and developed by a well-known and fastidious engineer in 2003, Robert (Bob) Buttle of Guisley Yorkshire created this special from a Riley 9hp and married the lightweight chassis with a more powerful Model-A Ford 3200cc engine has an aluminum Thomas head fitted.
It was in competition until 2007, where he sold it to one of our neighbors here at our Foxfields showroom. The new owner was a regular competitor at Harewood Hill climb and set a new class record in 2009 at 80. 04s. More recently he has moved his competitive motoring to regularity events and feels it’s now the right time to allow someone else to enjoy the Riley Thomas as Bob envisaged.
Priced for a quick uncomplicated sale, delivery can be arraigned worldwide, and fresh from a workshop check over.
