Stunning useable Triumph Stag 1976 auto
I’m the 7th previous Owner and haven’t owned it long. She drives absolutely spot on how a stag is supposed to. No rattles or nasty noises. She starts up on the button each time and has never let me down. Excellent soft top which goes up and down with ease not like many out there. NO HARD TOP. Bodywork is straight and most importantly solid as is NO rust or any rot anywhere. The full interior has been retrimmed by Aldridge Trimmers including the front bolsters and must say very comfortable driving experience. Great service history with old MOT’s and invoices. 2 keys and just installed a brand new fuse box as the old one had cracked in 3 places. I bought it of a elderly fella who had her over 5 years and in that time hardly done any mileage as his wife had a daily convertible so hence the stag wasn’t getting used but he maintained it to the highest standards in his ownership. He painted the car himself over 4 years ago and still looks stunning today. Let me just say he only painted her because of paint fading in certain areas not because of any other issues. The history on this car is rather impressive which you can check on the MOT history via the government website. 4 excellent tyres all round and everything works on this car. The only reason I’m selling her is because I’ve been offered another stag with a ZF gearbox which my friend has now decided to part with as we wanted to take the stag to the south of France next year.
