Here we have for sale a Fiat 500 Jolly recreation winter project... We purchased the vehicle with a view to recreating as near as possible to the blue car shown in pictures. Previous owners had a garage do some cutting work some years ago and thats where it stopped. We have since replaced some sections in front wings , repaired inner front wings at front, purchased a new front panel ready to fit.... it needs inner wheel well panel which is very cheap from Ricambio UK.... front end is then done.... some work is needed to base of front pillar one side , some fabrication to dash board required but competent welder can sort these things easily... Both floors need replacing( cheap from Ricambio). Inner sills also could do with replacing... Rear section is very sound and only surface storage rust in most places. Rear arches are good.
The side door sections our fabricator had planned to cut the square box sections out that previous owner had done and replace with tubing at a lower level as per the picture of blue car... There is a fair bit of welding involved but its such a small car that it is very straight forward to do and panels are so cheap.
When done well these replicas are advertised for 25-30, 000 euros in EU looking like the blue car.
We have the windscreen....
We know where seats can be covered in wicker if so desired. Engine and gearbox are in the car, engine is free and turns but will need stripping and checking, but we had planned to fit a 126 engine and gearbox....
Lots of potential for right person.... One seat is with car.... but Ricambio sell second hand parts like seats, wiring looms(still in car) etc....
Fiat Jolly's were created by Ghia in limited numbers and only a few survive. Last 2 sold in US both with Hagerty's auction and sold for $147, 000 , yes you read right, previous one sold for around $120, 000 from memory but its all on Google to check....
We have current V5 document.... we can arrange export to US, and other countries....
May seem like a lot of work but our fabricator reckoned about a week's welding and it should be about there body wise .... so its a bit of a blank canvas to finish it how you want to... you can see online how other owners have finished theirs. This is a great winter project....
Change of plans are reason for sale.... moving premises.
Let us know if you want and more pictures....
Will consider SWAP, DEAL, CAR , BIKE , BOAT , CLASSIC . TRY MEI am still in contact with last owner who was a 80 year old lady petrol head.... she still has a 1929 Fiat she rides about in.... but lack of storage forced her to move it on...
Great straight forward project as its only small.... you can see what you are buying....
