This V7 Sport was bought new from the most famous Moto Guzzi dealer, Vittorio Dolza and first registered in Turin on 16/ 07/ 75 (copy libretto on file). This original owner sold the V7 Sport in 2019 to specialist dealer Garlatti, from whom we bought it and imported into the UK and registered here. It is therefore a documented two owner from new motorcycle.
The frame number VK-12399 suggests this example is a first series production and was made in 1972, but may have been assembled later, possibly as a second series one in 1973, as more frames were made than orders.
This is an unrestored and cherished bike and still wears glorious factory verde and black frame paint and has a warranted mileage of just 29000 klms (or 18000 miles). Our example is fitted with Lafranconi exhausts and has ASI certification and passport.
Our V7 Sport has had the following maintenance recently:
New battery
New Dunlop K82 tyres and Michelin tubes
Sump dropped and gauze filter cleaned, new gasket and new engine oil
Valve adjustment
New spark plugs
Fuel tank cleaned
Carburettors rebuilt, new fuel hoses and filters
Fork seals replaced
Ignition: new points and Marelli condensers
