This stunning Dax Tojeiro 427 Cobra is sadly up for sale due to the recent sad passing of its dedicated owner of 22 years. The owner was a friend of mine and his family have asked me to find a new owner for this fantastic car. The first owner and builder of the car ordered it from Dax Tojeiro in early 1997 and completed the build in 1998. He chose the 350 Chevy 427 model and fitted it with the 5698cc 300+BHP Chevy engine mated to a new Tremec 5 speed gearbox. The history file shows receipts for about £25, 000 in parts alone and that was 25 years ago! In 2001 he sold the car to my friend Len who was the long time chairman of the famous Brighton and Hove Motor Club. He cherished the car for the next 22 years using it regularly for classic and concours shows, weekend drives and the occasional sprint event. As you can see in the pictures the looks amazing finished in Crimson Red and sitting on17 inch Halibrand wheels. It has a beautiful interior and a spotless engine bay. It has a full custom made soft top with side windows and a tonneau cover. There is a battery isolator switch, the original build manual and a large history file. The distinctive registration number AC C811A is included in the sale. The sound this car makes from the chevy engine exiting through the side pipes is incredible and although it is naturally aspirated it sounds like it has a supercharger! The performance is outstanding and as fast as you could want. One of the best Cobra's out there. The car can be viewed in Yapton near Arundel in West Sussex.
