Description
A brand-new FIA AC Cobra race car, meticulously built by Alan Mann Racing over 2½ years with absolutely no expense spared.
This AC Cobra has been built with one purpose: to be the most competitive Cobra on the grid. Enormous time, expertise, and attention to detail have gone into its construction. The result is what we believe to be the lightest Cobra currently available, weighing just 934 kg wet (all oils and fluids).
Power comes from a Mathwall engine, producing 476 HP on the dyno, with a broad, highly usable torque band. The car is fitted with the latest stainless-steel “trick” exhaust system, designed for maximum performance.

Tribute to CSX2345 - Sir John Whitmore / Alan Mann 1965 TT Winner
This car is a tribute to the works Cobra Roadster CSX2345, driven by Sir John Whitmore for Alan Mann Racing in 1965. That season, Shelby and Alan Mann joined forces to secure the World Sportscar Championship for Ford with the Cobras.
The most iconic moment came at the 1965 Oulton Park TT, a two-part race. Whitmore won the first heat but collapsed due to exhaust fumes. While he recovered in the medical tent, Alan Mann convinced him they could still win. Their secret plan: run the second heat non-stop, feigning pit-stop signals to mislead Ferrari. The strategy worked, Ferrari were caught out, and Whitmore claimed maximum points, running out of fuel only on the cool-down lap.
Both Alan Mann and Sir John Whitmore regarded it as the finest race of their careers, making this car a fitting and faithful tribute.
Period photos of the 1965 TT and original team memorabilia can be supplied with the car if desired.
Condition
This is a completely new build using all new parts and finished with the same exceptional attention to detail seen in all Alan Mann Racing cars. The car has completed only one shakedown roll-out and one test and is race-ready and highly competitive.
