This customised car has been built at a huge cost. Affectionately known as Slamazon. The original engine and gearbox have been retained as well as the dynamo and distributor ignition. The original twin SU carburetors fed by mechanical pump complete the easy maintenance and spares availability of this vehicle's drive train. The steering mechanism has been left unmodified but the brakes are upgraded slightly
The car however is a head turning lowrider type custom car with a fully customised, colour matched interior. It is fitted with beautiful reverse wired custom wheels and a bespoke stainless steel exhaust system which emerges flush from the sill on either side of the car. The car boot houses four batteries and these provide power for the four hydraulic pumps(one for each corner of the car)the actions of which are controlled by a hand held 10 way switch panel. The capability is for fast hops, three wheeling and various stunts, however some of these are restricted by the shock absorbers which hold the car steady whilst driving. For the ultimate showing the shock absorbers are straightforward to remove.
The car always draws a crowd at shows even when static with most spending longer around it than beautifully restored original cars. It retains the original body shape so with the exception of purists it is equally at home in classic or custom shows. It is registered as a historic vehicle which means it is MOT, Tax and ULEZ exempt. The car will be offered with a huge amount of original parts, fluids and good quality covers at no extra cost.
