Yamaha RD500LC 1GE one of the last years of construction with some modifications. The RD500 is fully ready to ride and the following new parts have been fitted: Fuel tap, fuel line. The bike has three previous owners and is an Austrian first delivery.

The performance data was impressive: 88 hp at 9, 000 rpm and a maximum torque of 67 Nm at 8, 500 rpm. This was enough to accelerate the 216 kg racing replica from 0 to 100 km/ h in 5. 1 seconds with a full tank of petrol, and it was only at 225 km/ h that the fun was over.
The stable frame of the half-litre RD consisted of a double-loop construction with square tubular steel profile parts and a continuous line from the steering head to the swingarm mountings. The front, oil-damped 37 mm telescopic fork with 140 mm suspension travel and hydraulically controlled anti-dive system accommodated a 120/ 80 - 16 tyre on the 3-spoke cast wheel, while at the rear the modified Yamaha cantilever suspension system with DeCarbon strut and 120 mm working stroke, which was infinitely adjustable in spring base and four-way adjustable in damping, compensated for any unevenness under the 130/ 80 - 18 rear tyre.
