EXTERIOR
Finished in a stunning shade of Basalt Black metallic, this Gen 2 presents in superb order all round with the front bumper pleasingly free from chips and marks. The pearlescent shade features browns, golds and a hint of purple metallic and really stands above and beyond the more traditional solid black alternative; it drapes over the big wide rear arches and aerodynamic lines of this race bred Porsche perfectly. The large fixed rear wing and aerodynamic bumpers, with plenty of large cooling vents and ducts, all of course add to the functional purpose.
The low front splitter, commonly scuffed, has been replaced recently and remains untouched; completing what is an incredibly clean example.
INTERIOR
The interior of this comfort spec 997. 2 is a balance of race car tech with styling comforts; blending an extreme drivers car for predominant use on the road. The GT3 is renowned as quite possibly the peak of perfection for enthusiastic driving with an incredible level of power, grip and involvement at manageable speeds on the roads today.
Hard backed Adaptive sports seats are trimmed in soft black leather neatly stitched with alcantara inserts that show in quite excellent original condition while a Touch screen PCM / Bluetooth and a front axle lift offer day-to-day considerations to ensure all bases are covered.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This 3. 8l flat six is in perfect mechanical order having been well serviced throughout its life with the main agent on 6 occasions.
Fresh from a visit to OPC Portsmouth in October ?23, an on-time minor service with a brake fluid change and a new starter motor, it flew threw it?s condition report with no outstanding issues.
Incredibly, after 715 operating hours, there are no ignitions present in any rev range parameter.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The lightweight alloys in Rose Gold tie into the metallic black bodywork beautifully, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2. These N rated tyres show plenty of tread depth.
Porsche in-scripted Red Brembo calipers clamp drilled brake discs and are in excellent order all round.
