Very Nice Condition - my wife's car for 4 years and maintained properly. New Front suspension lower arms, Fuel Pump with both senders, gearbox service, big battery and complete new Cooling system completed only last year.

Engine fires up straight away. Sounds very good and smooth through the gears. Pulls really well... 170 BHP From the M52TU Dual Vanos Straight Six engine.

No warning lights. No odd temperatures. Has been totally reliable.

Steering and brakes feel good. Drives and stops nice and straight.

Aftermarket wing mirrors, after some kind person knocked one off, whilst the car was parked and did not leave their contact number... They are sort of replica M3 mirrors and have to be operated manually. But we find once they are in the right position, we never need to adjust them again anyway.

Mechanically no issues we are aware of.

Bodywork is pretty exceptional for a 25 year old car, as can be seen in the photographs. Some very small scratches / imperfections, but no rust I can find.

There is a minor oil leak that is always mentioned on the MOT. In truth, it leaves no oil on the driveway and it has never needed the oil topping up. I change the oil every 8-10 months and it hasn't noticeably gone down on the dipstick at all. So it must be a very small leak! I believe it is coming from the valve / camshaft rocker cover, which are plastic and tend to warp slightly over the years. It is such an insignificant leak, I have never bothered to replace the cover, I just don't see the point. But new aftermarket ones are available for around £70 on a well known auction site, if it's a concern. Nearly all BMW's of this age leak a little oil, as you will be aware if you know your BMW's.

The Interior is in excellent condition, with only slight wear to the colour of the seat bolster. Electric seats and windows are all working.

Only selling because we want a change after 4 years of pleasurable ownership.

Feel free to ask any questions, this is a good car, you won't be disapointed.

Lots of Service History. Had a check over at BMW Main Dealer in Tamworth about 2yrs ago and passed with flying colours! It's a very handsome car in my opinion and I think the 6 cylinder Coupe in Black is probably a future classic that could go up in value given time.
