Mileometer stopped working at 190k two years ago , the speedometer and all other dials work as they should, based on my evidence from owner and you can see from the MOT history it has only covered minimal mileage since then so approx 192k now. An easy fix if required that im sure I cold address if it bothers you at the asking price but more importantly is the servicing, Cambelt replacement and new MOT to be honest
Personally driven for over 200 miles and this lovely old Volvo drives just wonderfully, its smooth and quiet even after nearly 30 years
Starts first time even in this very cold weather with a superb heater as you would expect
The superb 5 cylinder 20 valve 2. 5 petrol engine is still a real jewel
The bodywork has a few marks here and there and a few areas of lacquer discolouration the worst being on the bonnet and roof which add to its original charm to be quite honest, still solid and original though, but more importantly its mechanically very good with great history
In Summary
A really charming genuine Volvo 850 Estate which was made to last in those days with the ultra-reliable 5 cylinder power plant which will run for this mileage again if looked after.
