Very smart and well sorted BMW R80.
UK bike from new, with an interesting history file, documenting much improvements and maintenance in recent years. The bike was prepared for the now famous Colombres Classic event in Northern Spain, which due to domestic issues, never happened.
Much of the work is documented with invoices, and includes top end engine refresh, complete brake system overhaul, new tyres, new battery, electrical overhaul including ignition and charging, carbs rebuilt, etc, etc.
The R90S tribute paintwork is very, very nice indeed, and complimented by that 90S fairing, and genuine early “peanut”rocker covers. (although square in the pics). There are lots of other nice touches, such as the twin front discs, crash bars, full stainless exhaust system and modern tyres. A huge amount of time and money has been lavished on this one. HPI clear.
All in all, I’m sure that you’d agree that the bike looks really well, and more importantly, is now set up and ready for another 45 years of adventures. Obviously Historic status, so MOT exempt, and road tax free. For piece of mind, the bike will be supplied with a fresh MOT.
