Description
There are certain manufacturers that need no introduction, regardless of the model - A Rolls Royce is one of these cars. A seriously rare find with just under 34, 000 miles from new, this car has averaged approximately 850 miles per year over it’s lifetime. In rare ‘Nutmeg Brown’ with ‘Tan’ interior, not only is this a rare find with this mileage, but it’s also a rare find in terms of colourway. Clearly a car that has been cherished throughout it’s life, it was left static in most recent years due to the health of the owner. Currently undergoing a minor refresh with us to get it back on the road it will shortly be ready to be enjoyed as it is, or to be the base of a minor restoration to return it to it’s former glory as what has to be one of the lowest mileage Silver Spirits in the UK. Originally supplied by ‘Dutton-Forshaw North West’ in Preston, this Rolls Royce shows only 4 owners from new (2 of which I believe to be from the same family). Between 1995 and 2016 this vehicle was owned by a wealthy enthusiast who serviced it himself within his workshop (Where it lived with a number of other exceptional vehicles, as well as a spitfire aircraft!)
Exterior
Rare ‘Acrylic Nutmeg Brown’ - A striking paint colour that is becoming quite popular again in recent times. Paintwork generally presents well with no scuffs or dents. There are 2 small areas of peeling on the roof, and signs of a previous paint repair on the tailgate. Brightwork is all present, and the famous Rolls Royce grille and ‘spirit of ecstasy’ are present and correct! Small signs of corrosion on rear arches, but the underside is well undersealed and protected. Some small areas of paint lifting.
Interior
The interior is a combination of Tan (VM4134) leather and Dark Brown (VM890) carpet- The leather itself is in great condition for the age, with only light marking on the front seats, but no tears or rips. The roof lining is in good condition with no sag, and all carpet mats are present (Passenger and rear looking like new!). Original foot rests are present in the rear and everything works as expected. The wood has suffered UV damage and the lacquer has peeled off - This would need rectifying for perfection on the interior.
Mechanical
The vehicle stops, starts and drives as expected from such a low mileage model. It glides as every Rolls Royce should!

While we try and take the time to describe the car as thoroughly as possible, as always with a classic car there are quirks that cannot reasonably uncovered by us here - Although, it’s these quirks that make us fall in love with classic cars! Please do consider this when purchasing a classic vehicle.
