This beautiful, superbly prepared Rolls Royce Silver Spirit has covered just 50, 000 miles from new and retains a fantastic history dating back to new. First registered on the 31st of August 1989, this Rolls Royce Silver Spirit was supplied by Merlin Cambria Ltd of Cardiff to Mr Glyndwr Owain Yemm, the owner and Chairman of Maxibrite Ltd. Following his retirement the Rolls Royce was put into his personal name from the Briquette brand and the car stayed with its first owner until 2001.
The Rolls Royce headed up to the Northwest of England and its second owner assigned his personal registration mark G6 GOO which is still with the car today. After three years the Rolls Royce headed to the East Riding of Yorkshire and the car has remained there ever since. The most recent owner purchased the car in 2021, a regular customer of ours, a property developer and keen classic car enthusiast who has an eclectic collection of prestigious motor vehicles.
The Silver Spirit comes with its Rolls Royce leather wallet containing all original brochures of warranty, dealerships, and service booklets. The service booklet details services from Rolls Royce Cardiff at 1044, 3320, 9060, 10602 and 12433 miles. Broughtons of Cheltenham RR serviced the car at 14919 before servicing was resumed with Cardiff's Rolls Royce main agents at 18077, 19695, 22180, 23638, 26815 and 28462 miles. In November 2000, Rolls Royce agents Wynham of Cardiff replaced the speedometer and set it back to zero. Further services recorded since the speedo replacement are recorded at 1149, 2985, 4548 and once in the East Riding of Yorkshire, Jaguar main agents Hatfields looked after the car with services at 6680, 12256, 15618, 16440, 17026, 18053, 18432 and 18954 miles. The most recent service was carried out at 21500 miles.
Within its most recent ownership, a classic car specialist (former Rolls Royce engineer who spent his years at JCT 600 Leeds) carried out a thorough service and inspection of the car to the tune of £3, 159 that included a new oil, air, and fuel filter, spark plugs, thermostat, drive belts, sphere accumulators, 4 new Avon tyres, and new radiator hoses. A few integral parts were reconditioned as well including the radiator, the brake pump, and the NSR window mechanism. A year later, the car returned to the specialists where a further £1, 300 was commissioned. The recent course of recommissioning has ensured this Rolls Royce is absolutely on the button and delivers exactly on the expectation of driving such a vehicle.
