Description

The Chevrolet Corvette C1 is the first generation of Corvette sports cars produced by Chevrolet, Production of the C1 started in 1953 and continued until the C2 model arrived in 1962. This generation is commonly referred as the "solid-axle" generation as the independent rear suspension did not appear before 1963 in the Stingray. Here we offer a nice example from 1960. The car was bought in 1993 from the Volo Museum in Illinois USA by a Frenchman who took the car to France where it was until 2012 when it was sold to the Netherlands. The car was restored in 1992 by Bann's Corvettes and has won several awards for best restoration i. e. Spinner Concourse. Although it has been many years since the car has been restored it still appears in good condition both mechanically and cosmetically. Very original car with manual gear, Wonderbar radio, Power windows etc. Note Dutch papers. Sold in the condition the car is in due to age km - call for more information about this.
