Here we offer for sale our stunning low mileage Mk1 Ducati 749R. This late registered example has covered just 762 Miles from new. This bike originated in Germany being first registered in December 2008 before being shipped to the UK in April 2021. The bike has full Carbon fairings and really is the nicest example we have had through our showroom. The bike is supplied with 3 keys, hand book pack and was last serviced in June 2023 at 660 miles. The bike will receive a belt service and MOT prior to sale.
This 'R' race ready version of the 749 was specifically built to win the World Super Sport championship. At the time it was the highest specification Ducati to have left the factory. The Supersport championship had very strict rules about altering of engines and stock parts so Ducati built this bike as an out and out racer straight from the factory. The model is above and beyond the 749S with larger valves, lighter body, shorter stroke and a higher RPM and hence more torque and power. The 749R also came with a larger tank, slipper clutch, Ohlins forks, racing cams, and titanium valves. rumoured to pass 140BHP.
