First registered on 17th June 1966 and only 4 former recorded keepers. This Rover has been with the same owner for the past 31 years. He sadly passed away recently and we purchased it from his family. It is extremely good structurally and even round the bodywork. Mechanically it has been well maintained. New servo and rear calipers have been fitted not so long ago.
It runs and drives superbly. It was mot tested annually until 2019 and it has only covered around 1100 miles since. The mot history shows no signs of any previous rust issues.
The interior is all original and presentable although not perfect. Bodywork wise as previously mentioned it is all solid, with no rust issues, however the paintwork is mismatched and generally flat and not to a brilliant finish. If you wanted to make a very nice car, then it will need a full repaint or just use it as it has been used.
As we all know the structure is far more important than the shiny bodywork and on this example it is good
The Rover comes with the original workshop manuals, current v5 and some bills for parts purchased
It would be an ideal car to run and improve, but there is no obvious major work to be done from what we can see.
