1989 MG Metro that’s only covered a genuine 55, 000 miles.
Advertised on behalf of the second owner. The first owner being a lady who owned the car for 32 years!
The second owner says:-
This car was bought by a lady in 1989 who used it until the early 2000s which is when it was then garaged until 2021. I bought the car out of said garage and spent some time recommissioning it including having all of the Hydro suspension replaced (an expensive but necessary job), new battery, rear swing arm, tyres and other bits and pieces.
The car is very original with a lovely condition interior as you can see in the pictures! There has been a little paintwork done on the passenger side as the car had crazed lacquer which according to the lady was there from about a month after she collected it.
I have used the the car lightly since owning it and taken it to a few shows including MG live where it came second in the concours competition thanks to it's originality. It drives very nicely still, a good torquey engine which pull still at 70 and 80mph and I've had over 50mpg out of it!
With just 54k miles from new and a fresh MOT (4th Oct), I'm loathed to let it go but other projects mean I need to make way unfortunately.
