Hi, I'm selling this beautiful 1978 Ford Capri MK3 1600 S, the first year the MK3 came out. 42800 km on the odometer but as it's a five-figure odometer, it's impossible for me to certify it, there was a compression test and each cylinder was around 9 bars, which corresponds to the manufacturer's standard. The paintwork was redone about 5 years ago by the previous owner.

The timing belt has just been changed as well as the water pump and the accessory belt. All the ignition is new. The engine as well as the carburetion and the automatic choke work very well. The interior is impeccable and entirely original. In line 4 cylinder engine, 91 hp and 9 tax hp original, never rebuilt. Propulsion. The underside is impeccable. No expenses to foresee, can take the road without any problem. Very rare model, S version.
It has the option of a vinyl roof and a removable glass sunroof with the little bag to store it which does not leak. It also has its blind on the rear window which is in perfect condition and very rare. All the equipment works. It is very pleasant to drive and responds perfectly, very good road holding, ideal for long distances. It has hardly ever been driven in wet weather and has always been stored dry. It has always been very well maintained.
Just passed MOT and brakes just a little harder on the left rear, just needs a little tweaking, that's all it needs. It's on normal registration. Am parting with this car for another project, there's a pit on site to see underneath.
