Model origins The Mini Cooper Sportspack is a special edition of the famous Mini, produced by Rover. It was designed to offer a sportier, more luxurious version of the classic Mini, while retaining its charm and heritage. Indeed, Rover was looking to offer a more exclusive and distinctive version of the Mini to attract a wider customer base and compete with other small sports cars of the time. The Sportspack features fender flares, special 13-inch alloy wheels, a chrome grille and fog lamps. The interior is more luxurious, with leather seats, a leather steering wheel (replaced here by a wooden one), a wooden dashboard and special floor mats.
