This near perfectly preserved, Final Year of Production BMW E30 325i ‘Alpine White’ Saloon undoubtedly provides the stunning condition, history and mileage any collector or enthusiast highly desires. Supplied New from ‘Benham’ BMW in August 1991, this example comes complete with Full Service History to the Current Day, alongside invoices totalling over £2500 for a full recommission with no expenses spared in 2022-2025, restoring it to the impressive example showcased, still bragging its complete 1991 originality and highly unique optional extras, making it stand out from all other examples - these include the rare headlight wipers chrome trim arches, Rear parcel-shelf speakers, front fog lights, alongside all the usual higher specification 325i extras of which being electric mirrors, windows and sunroof and more.
As a result of garage storing over its 34 years, this car has had everything required throughout its lifetime to maintain its fresh condition pairing with the lower mileage of only 61, 501, including brief periods of dry storage throughout its life (most noticeably 2007-2017 by a previous elderly owner), where the car was frequently maintained, started and driven to preserve its mechanical components. As of January 2018, the car undertook a very high level of welding to the Rear Arches and Lower Rear Sills costing £1920 for both sides. Following this was a further 4 years of preservation in storage, concluded in 2022 with a Full and Complete Health Check and Inspection at ‘The Tipton Garage’, highlighting any components needing refreshing to further preseve its exceptional all round condition, resulting in a £2, 268. 53 Invoice and overhaul. The car has covered minimal mileage since, with further heated storage alongside a large collection of other classics.
The Paintwork is in remarkable condition, with near to no age related marks, scratches or damage at all on all panels. Besides a very minimal dent to the lower nearside door (photo supplied upon request), the paintwork is practically impossible to flaw, definitely worthy of collectors condition. All Arches, Wings and Sills are in completely rust free condition throughout. The ‘corroded subframe’ mentioned on the 12/ 3/ 2024 MOT is overly harsh and inaccurate - the whole underside is in superb condition for a 34 year old car, as shown on the 20/ 02/ 2025 MOT. The Interior is also in outstanding condition, with very minimal or no age related wear to the trim and accessories. Both front and rear seats look as if factory fresh, with no tears, rips or fraying at all. As on most E30’s, there are a few slits in the dashboard to fault, but besides this, everything looks exactly as desired.
Mechanically, with all maintenance, parts, invoices, low mileage and originality combined the car runs and drives faultlessly, with the factroy fresh feeling that any enthusiast lusts for. The Automatic Gearbox is extremely smooth, and pairs perfectly with the more powerful M20B25 engine.
