This was Mercedes flagship model in 1986, Forget about the 200T or the 230, which are both 4 cylinder petrol engines. This is the 2. 8 Straight 6 overhead cam engine, very much ahead of its time.
This car was a small fortune when it was released in 1986 and was considerable more expensive than many of Mercedes competitors cars, With all the latest luxuries, Electric windows, 4 speed automatic gearbox, huge sunroof and “Mexican”Hat alloy wheels.
This particular car has been very well maintained over the years and also always garaged by it’s previous owner. I have a huge history folder with the car plus a recent garage bill of over £2, 800 pounds. This is includes big service with all of the filters replaced, Spark plugs and HT leads, New injectors and seals, 2 new front suspension springs and lots more done.
It has a new 12 month MOT aswell.
